You are doing it. You are showing up every single day. You are waking up every day to refill the sippy cup, make the lunches, sharpen the pencils, and you are mathing, creating, scheduling, disciplining, cuddling, cleaning, bathing….etc…etc…etc…the list goes on and on. The bottom line is you are doing a lot of stuff!
Overcomer
We are over-comers in Jesus’ name. In every season, in every moment, all the time. This is a statement of who we are in Him it’s not just an idea and it’s true whether we feel like it is or not. But don’t take my word for it, let’s take a look at these Scriptures. 1 John 4:17 says, “as he is, so also are we in this world.” John 16:33 Jesus says, “take heart; I have overcome the world.” Stop and think about those two truths. Okay, Jesus is an overcomer and if I am “like Him” then I am too–you are too!
What A Friend
“What a friend we have in Jesus”; lyrics to a hymn I remember singing in church as a little girl. I found myself humming it over and over again throughout my day today. I have not heard or sang that song in many years. I recognized it being stuck in my head as a wink from God. A wink to remind me that He is near.
